ENVIRONMENTAL ADJUSTMENTS, MARCH 1997
The second Fossil Aerosol title was produced in the spring of 1997 using environmental recordings (made years earlier) that were subjected to multi-channel treatments recorded and mixed live. Five of these tracks were edited and remastered from two hours of live mixes. An additional track, PAC 7:31PM, is an outtake from an unreleased 1987 recording. These are more transparent, slower-moving pieces – think Eno’s On Land, contaminated and mutated.
